Waterproofing
Our windows are air and watertight.
A test bench test validates this performance. Water is sprayed against the glazing with a wind pressure distributed over the entire surface.
Our windows are waterproof, in principle class 9a according to the European standard EN 12208, i.e. up to a pressure of 600 Pascal.
Leak tests using garden hoses or Kärcher do not correspond to reality, because the water is injected through the drain holes and too high a pressure prevents flows. In the event of a leak, it is important to check that the flow holes in the aluminum profile are not blocked. If this is not the case, please contact our maintenance department.
