Tempered glass

Tempered glass - ESG - is a safety glass, with high resistance to mechanical shocks. In the case of breakage, the glass bursts into multiple non-cutting pieces.

Tempered glass is prescribed on both sides of building entrance doors, in gyms, near ball games, for staircases or balustrades.

In case of a risk of thermal shock, we recommend the use of tempered glass on the inside of the glass. 

Our Structural windows are systematically made with tempered glass on the outside of the glazing and offer better protection.

Be careful, the edge of a tempered glass remains fragile and should not be used.
